Western Australia's FuelWatch is the original government fuel watch, running since 2001. Its 24-hour rule is unique: every WA station must lock tomorrow's prices in by 2pm today, and can't change them for 24 hours - which means WA is the only state where you can see tomorrow's fuel prices tonight and plan your fill-up with certainty.

What a good fuel watch actually watches
Watching fuel prices well means watching three things: today's cheapest station near you (the live map answers that in one tap), where your city sits in its price cycle (14-day trend charts show whether prices are climbing or falling), and stations running out of fuel (live outage tracker). Petrol swings hardest, so check it daily; diesel moves slower, so a weekly glance is usually enough.
